Halloween Night was enjoyed by thousands of people in the parking lot of Cabella's at the festival of games, music, and hundreds of pounds of candy. There were drawings for prizes from free meals from local restaurants to $100 gift certificates from Target. Trunk or Treat is an annual event of The Connection Church that provides a safe and fun way to spend your Halloween night.

On monday August 25th the new overpass connecting Hillside Terrace Dr.and Robert S Light Blvd. was opened. As I passed that morning I saw they were going to have a ribbon cutting but was not able to be present. It is a long time over due , Buda needed  more access from one side of town to the other. My next question is when are they going to add a south bound exit from the I35 freeway after FM2001, this could free up traffic crossing FM2001 overpass.
